Gallbladder

Hi all just wanted to ask a question.
Not been very well over the last few days resulting in being in hospital.:(
Wanting to see another doctor now to have my gallbladder removed.As anyone had this done?and what was the recovery time..

Hi, I had my gall bladder removed by keyhole surgery. i was back at work within a week. As my job involved a lot of driving I waited a further two weeks before I started driving. I think though it is up to the individual. A friend of mine took around three months to recover. Hope you feel better soon and good luck :-))

I had my gallbladder removed via keyhole last January. The recovery period was about three weeks due to complications from the gas - I felt amazing the second I woke up, there was no pain on the gallbladder what so ever! It's a common thing to have the gallbladder removed these days so don't worry, it'll be for the best
