Sorry.... but it does, the sack around the liver causes pain. I'm had pain in my spleen. I have a lot of joint pain, which a pain clinic DR. comfirmed to me that the Ursodiol was probably one cause. A lot of us with PBC also have Fibromyalgia, for some reason. There will even be knots in the muscles you can feel, so no wonder it hurts so. And I think it's wise to take the Ursodiol, even still.

Yes it does. Suffered acute right side chest, should arm and wrist pain before started taking urso. After taking urso it's just moderate chest pain. Muscle aches also.

You are being told this by people who do not have PBC - so what can we expect really??

They should all spend one day in our shoes, I'm certain they would not be so dismissive afterwards.

I was told the same thing on Tuesday by my consultant, that the pain is because I have panic attacks and I worry to much about my pbc, I did say it wasn't just me with pbc that has the pain that I do talk to lots of people all over the world with it and they all say the same and he turned round and sound that they are talking rubbish pain doesn't go alone with pbc, im so glad you have brought this up as I did feel I was going mad x
